2D Animations
Saturday
Morning
This is my final project for my capstone exhibition, which also doubles as my animation reel. Saturday Morning is all about the nostalgia of watching saturday morning cartoons as a child. I put together four original shorts I created over the four years I've been at UNL and combined them to display on an old television screen.
Victory Horns
This is an assignment that required us to practice rotoscope animation within Adobe After Effects. We had to take a live footage of ourselves doing a victory pose and then rotoscope it out to add a background. I wanted to take a cute path in making this, so I used cute Japanese music and turned myself into a cute cartoon version.
Mr. Finicky
This is another class assignment where we had to practice looping within Adobe After Effects. I just made a cute little short animation of a dog named Mr. Finicky simply for the reason that he is a finicky eater and only eats fancy shoes since he is a fancy boy.
A Wild Griffin
A short 2D Adobe After Effects animation in which I was practicing parenting, and grouping various images to animate. I created a Griffin just because I love mystical creatures like dragons and griffins, so why not? This was also an assignment for a class (2019).
Charles Barkin':
Monster Slayer
This is a recent animation I've done for my Digital Media Course. Using the "DNA of a Fox" method I had to create a story out of many verbs and nouns and came up with this short 2D animation about a Dog named Charles Barkin' who loses his car to the monster territory and has to go on an adventure to retrieve it.
Bee & Sting
A cartoon series that follows the mischievous adventures of a bear and a raccoon (both of which are honey bandits).
Here I have a couple rough animations for scenes of the first episode of the series. Made with Adobe Flash/Animate
The Laughing Dragon
This was the first full animation I've done. It is a short story about a dragon that laughs instead of breathing fire.
It was a final proect for a DAI course that specialized with story telling, 2D animation and Adobe After Effects.
Short Films
Anna
This is a 12 minute animated short film that I was a part of. As an assistant rotoscope animator, I worked on a team of other animators to paint and animate scenes for the lead animator.
Anna is based on true events about an African American woman's quest for freedom and family. This film has won several awards including the 2018 New Media Film Festival for Best Animation.

JACHT Animations
Jacht
Jacht is an official business run by faculty and students of UNL through the jounalism/advertisment school.
I was asked personally to join this class by one of the faculty members (Alan Eno) and take part of the Videographers team as an animator. In this class/business, I created animated logos for Jacht and helped edit videos for other clients that Jacht worked with.
